Big Valley Jamboree Returns to Camrose This Summer
Every summer, Camrose transforms into one of Canada’s premier country music destinations, and 2026 is shaping up to be another unforgettable year for the Big Valley Jamboree (BVJ).
Running July 30 through August 2 at the Camrose Regional Exhibition Grounds, BVJ continues to attract country music fans from across Alberta, Canada, and beyond. What began more than three decades ago has grown into one of the country’s largest and most recognized country music festivals, bringing thousands of visitors to our community every August long weekend.
This year’s lineup features an impressive collection of country music stars, including headliners Keith Urban, Old Dominion, and Riley Green. Festival-goers can also look forward to performances from Nate Smith, Chase Rice, Gavin Adcock, Cameron Whitcomb, The Dead South, Noeline Hofmann, Sacha, Robyn Ottolini, and many more talented artists throughout the weekend.
But BVJ is about much more than the music.
For many visitors, the camping experience is just as memorable as the concerts themselves. Thousands of campers create a temporary community filled with live music, campfires, social gatherings, and friendships that return year after year. The festival grounds become a destination where country music fans can enjoy four days of entertainment, food vendors, activities, and a true Alberta summer atmosphere.
The impact on Camrose is significant. Hotels, restaurants, local businesses, and attractions all benefit from the influx of visitors. It’s one of the biggest weekends of the year for our community and an opportunity to showcase everything that makes Camrose such a great place to live, work, and visit.
If you’re planning to attend, it’s worth booking accommodations, campsites, and tickets early, as demand remains high every year. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a long-time BVJ veteran, this year’s event promises another incredible weekend of live music and unforgettable memories.
As locals, we’re fortunate to have one of Canada’s most iconic country music festivals right in our backyard. The energy, excitement, and community spirit that BVJ brings to Camrose each summer is something special, and it’s one of the many reasons people love calling this city home.
We’ll see you at BVJ 2026!
